I am posting a picture of a dance from Borneo.
In ceremonial dress, the warrior from Borneo
dances to celebrate Peace.
Peace does not come easily.
When there are forces that take away our Peace
We gather to protect it.
If we do not match and go beyond
Our enemy.
Then how can we expect to win this battle?
Two weeks ago i was told by my father-in-low how peace treaty was signed between various tribes of Borneo in the late 1950s and early 1960s in the District of Belaga in Sarawak.
ReplyDeleteThe peace treaty was so effective that until now we the new generations still benefit from it.
Peace means there are no more wars or battles.
But remember that our present battles are against thousand-and-one kinds of global crises.
Drug addicts, dengue fever, influenza A H1N1, corruptions are some examples of our present enemies and we are battling against them.
Let us form a join forces to fight against today's enemies. We are the warriors.
Beside our battle against the above enemies, we are also fighting against the spirit of darkness that attacks us from every angle. Therefore, put on the full armour of God (Ephesians 6:13-18). Take all the weapons below:
1. belt of truth
2. breastplate of righteousness
3. feet fitted with readiness for the gospel
4. shield of faith
5. helmet of salvation
6. sword of the spirit, the word of God
7. pray in the Spirit
