THIS WAS A STRANGE MORNING
I DROVE ALONG A JOURNEY TO NO WHERE
A VOICE INSIDE ME TOLD ME
TO GIVE UP
A BEAUTIFUL SONG LURED ME TO SAFETY
AND THE REASONS UNFOLDED BEFORE MY TIRED MIND
AS MY SOUL DRIFTED TO SOMEWHERE I COULD NOT FEEL
A STRANGE NEW BEGINNING
"THE OCEAN IS TOO BIG
TOO MANY DIFFERENT FISH
TOO SILENT, TOO FAR APART
I JUST CAN'T DO IT !
A RIPPLE WON'T MAKE A DIFFERENCE
I AM TOO TIRED MY LORD
JUST LET ME GO
PLEASE
I WANA GIVE UP
IT'S FAR TOO PAINFUL MY LORD
WHEN LOVE IS NOT ENOUGH

AND SLEEP AND SLEEP AND SLEEP

BUT AS I DROVE OVER A FLY OVER
I SAW A SAD WHITE SUN
MISTY
AND I REMEMBERED
I HEARD HIM SAY
WHAT ARE YOU DOING?
I CAME HOME AND KEPT ON GOING

I once heard a personal testimony of a man who was imprisoned for Christ sake. His wife said a statement of encouragement of to him:

In the time of temptation the Lord assured us His deliverance when He promises:
"No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.1 Corinthians 10:13
When Paul was writing to the church of Corinthians, he said:
"Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labour in the Lord is not in vain."
Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful. Hebrews 10:23
Please! Don't give up easily for there are still many people caring you including God. God is always there for you and you must believe in him.

Trust the voice within.. IT IS OUR FATHER GOD
This is the struggle against the powers of darkness...the voice that tells you to give up. And then there is the song of the Lord that lifts you up. The tird voice is that our your own tired mind and heart.

When we follow the right voice we find rest to our souls.
He is the Lover of our souls and He never leaves or forsakes us.
Problems seemingly insurmountable are our mountains. Jesus said, if you have faith, you can say to this mountain, be removed and be cast into the sea, and it shall be done.
When we fall down tired...we came to rest in the right place...humbled and on our knees. As we raise our eyes proverbially to Him, that is the posture of true rest. In that posture, give Him all your pain and sadness and tiredness and strife and helplessness and hopelessness, and whatever else. When He takes it, you are set free. And then you rise from your knees refreshed.
And when on our knees, that's the best time to ask of God...
James 1:5 says, "If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him."
