TURNING POINT

HE SAID HE HAD TO FACE REALITY

AND IT TOOK MONTHS TO GATHER THE COURAGE TO SPEAK.

THAT WE WERE A BLESSED PEOPLE

YET WE HAD BECOME COMPLACENT

WE ARE WITH GOOD POSITIONS

EDUCATED AND ENJOYING A COMFORTABLE LIFESTYLE

OUR HOMES HAD SEVERAL CARS

HANDPHONES

AND MANY TYPES OF ENTERTAINMENT

AND WE HAD BECOME INDIFFERENT

AND OUR HEARTS HAD BEEN HARDENED

I SENSED THE PAIN IN HIM

AS HE SAID WHAT NEEDED TO BE SAID

JESUS REBUKED THOSE WHOM HE LOVED

THE GOOD CAN BE THE ENEMY OF THE BEST

THE BEST IS YET TO COME

BUT IF WE ARE SATISFIED WITH THE GOOD

THEN THE BEST WILL NEVER COME.

THIS IS COMPLACENCY

( YES I SAW THE TREASURE AROUND US

BUT THEY WERE HIDDEN

AND NOT EMPOWERING US

TOWARDS OUR MISSION )

WHATEVER YOU FOCUS YOUR HEART ON

YOU BEGIN TO BE SENSITIVE TO.

WHATEVER YOU NEGLECT,

YOUR HEART BEGINS TO HARDEN TOWARDS.

WHEN YOUR HEART IS INSENSITIVE AND UNYIELDING

YOU HAVE A HARDENED HEART.

YOU HEART DETERMINES WHERE

YOUR LIFE IS GOING.

I WROTE A SONG...IT WAS LIKE JESUS WAS SPEAKING TO ME.

SO I JUST WROTE ON THE BACK OF MY CHRISTIAN EDUCATION BOOK.

AND I WROTE...

I AM HE THAT CALLS YOU

I AM HE THAT SENDS YOU

LEAVE YOUR FEAR

TAKE MY HAND

DON'T BE AFRAID

TO TELL THEM WHAT I TOLD YOU

THEN

THE FEAR WAS GONE

AND I WILL NOT BE AFRAID TO TELL THEM

WHAT JESUS TOLD ME

THERE ARE OTHER SHEEP

NOT OF THIS FLOCK

I WILL CALL THEM TOO

AND THERE WILL BE

ONE FLOCK

ONE SHEPHERD

  1. Yes, we can share...but conviction is the work of the Holy Spirit.

Let's lift up our hearts to Him. May He flood us with Love, Joy & Peace--our salvation fruits. May these fruits help us to grow others--patience, goodness, kindness...

God tender mercies on us all.

  2. The word of the Lord reminds us all, saying:
Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The heart is willing, but the body is weak.

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
