CAN A MAN BE GOD?

A seeker asked me this question yesterday.

I pondered a while and did not answer.

He said a religious leader had changed moved from one religion to another because of this concern.

Well, I am not here to win a debate, merely to share my personal experience.

For me the question is not

"Can a man be God"

But the question is

"Can God be Man?"

My answer is
...

Why not?

Is anything impossible for God?

  1. When a man makes his heart his God that's when he loses his way.
When a man is able to be at his lowest before the glory of the Highest, that's when his eyes that are the lamps unto his soul, truly sees. Such lamps need oil and to keep getting the oil to keep the lamp alight, God is the fount of all good things as per James 1:17 [Jas 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. ]

  4. A rich young man came up to Jesus and asked, "Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?"
Jesus replied, "There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, obey the commanments."
    "Which one"? the man enquired.
Jesus replied, "Do not murder, do commit adultery, do not steal,, do not give false testimony, honour your father and mother, and love your neighbour and yourself."
"All these I have kept," the young man said. "What do I still lack?"
Jesus answered, "If you want to be perfect, go, and sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me."
The rich young man went away sad, because he had great wealth.

This story reveals to us that we often put God behind all our priorities. When God become the second position, that mean we have another god in our life, our wealth, our profession or career or hobby. Think about other life priorities.
