A dove told an angel and the angel told me to tell you
And so I read what the message gave me
Matthew 5 to 7
Jesus spoke with authority
They wondered how He could be so sure of what would befall those who act in certain ways
He listed clearly what we should do and should not do
Some instructions may seem unreasonable
And so I thought
When God gives an intruction
What choice do we have
We obey
Joyfully
For He came to fulfill the prophecy
Today I would like to just focus on one small part of what He said at that time
He taught us how to pray
FATHER IN HEAVEN
HOLY IS YOUR NAME
YOUR KINGDOM COME
ON EARTH AS IN HEAVEN
Today this means something new
It means
The purpose of God will prevail

Talking about Jesus authority
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me about Jesus and his disciples
When they tried to crose the lake of Galilee.
As they sailed, Jesus fell asleep at the back.
A squall came down on the lake and their boat was about to sink.
"Master, Master, we're going to drown!" they said
At once, Jesus got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waters;
immediately the storm subsided and the lake was calm.
This shows that when we put Jesus at the back,
Saying that we ourself as first and Jesus the second priority,
And if we let Jesus fall asleep in our heart.
Temptation will easily overcome us in our spiritial relationship with God
Thus, let Jesus stay awake in our heart
Because Jesus has the authority over temptation
that we face in our daily live.
