Spend all your time waiting for that second chance

There's always some reason to feel “not good enough"?

So tired of the straight line, and everywhere you turn
There's vultures and thieves at your back
The storm keeps on twisting, you keep on building the lies
That you make up for all that you lack
It don't make no difference, escaping one last time
It's easier to believe
In this sweet madness, oh this glorious sadness
That brings me to my knees
In the arms of an Angel, far away from here

The third paragraph reminds me of a verse in John 10:10 saying:
ReplyDeleteThe thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.
I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
It's true our surroundings are not safe
Vultures and thieves are everywhere
They are there to destroy, to steal and to kill,
Yet Jesus promise to give life to those who believe in him.
