You know I am open minded
To a certain extent
But recently
I saw it as yet another
Illusion
'Cos we can be so open minded
That we get blinded
And then when we are too polite
To take a stand
So we remain silent
When we don't agree
And we swallow
Any nonsense
For Peace' sake
Cos we don't want any conflict.
Oh we have such good
Social skills
Anything goes
Let people be who they are
Anything they want to be
Just as long as we live
In harmony
And we can survive
But how much will we give up?
Everything we believe in?
Where is this open road a leadin'?

Peace comes at a price. Already paid for. So, now it is a gift. But it has to be received or it's not owned.
